The general steps for measuring are as follows:

Measurement instrument preparation: Make sure the photometer or colorimeter is calibrated and meets the requirements.

You need to set the display device to the brightness level you want to measure. To achieve the desired brightness, you can adjust the brightness settings or display mode.

A photometer or colorimeter should be positioned perpendicular to the surface of the display to ensure that it measures the light source.

Start measuring the intensity of the light emitted by the display device by pressing the corresponding button on the measuring instrument or triggering the measurement command.

Choosing the right NIT brightness
